Noman Ibne Sabit: Fahad Solaiman, the newly elected new ‘Asian Advisor’ of the City Mayor’s Office, will work for the welfare of Bangladeshi expatriates in the United States in cooperation with the New York City Mayor. He was recently appointed ‘Asian Advisor’ to the New York City Mayor’s Office. Fahad Solaiman expressed his hope to work for the welfare of expatriate Bangladeshis with the cooperation of the mayor after taking oath in a ceremony at City Hall on Wednesday (August 10). City Mayor Eric Adams and Mayor’s International Affairs Commissioner Dilip Chauhan were present at the swearing-in ceremony.

Fahad Solaiman, the elder son of late MM Solaiman, a brave freedom fighter of Nilphamari, has been working with the Democratic Party for a long time. Previously, he was appointed as a delegate to Queens Borough President Donavan Richards and a member of Queens Community Board-3.
Community leaders thanked City Mayor Eric Adams for the appointment of Fahad Solaiman, general secretary of the Jackson Heights Bangladeshi Business Association (JBBA) and a successful New York businessman. He hopes to work on ‘business and public service’ as an Asian advisor to the city mayor. Expatriate Bangladeshis from different states congratulated him on his success.
