US Awami League is ready to reception PM in New York

United States Awami League is ready to give the Prime Minister a warm welcome at JFK Airport. The Awami League leader has been holding talks in New York for the past few days to make the Prime Minister’s visit to the US a success. Leaders of the United States Awami League said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the diaspora at the civic reception organized by the United States Awami League on Saturday, September 24.
The 77th General Session of the United Nations is starting on Tuesday, September 13. The UN high-level general debate will begin on September 20. Therefore, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will arrive in New York on September 18.
Last Friday (September 9), a discussion meeting of Awami League was held at Diversity Plaza in Jackson Heights, New York.The meeting was held under presided by President of the United States Awami League Dr. Siddiqur Rahman, He called upon the leaders and workers of Awami League and organizations to work together to make the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s New York visit a success.
President Dr. Siddiqur Rahman and Acting General Secretary Abdus Samad Azad said, using the name of the party, a schemer gang tries to become a big leader by creating various unpleasant incidents before the Prime Minister’s civic reception almost every year.
