Noman Sabit: The federal Court has sentenced a Bangladeshi youth in New York for his involvement in the activities of the Islamic terrorist organization ISIS. A federal court in New York made the ruling on Tuesday (December 20) local time. Ahmed Parvez was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
It is known that Ahmed Parvez, accused of involvement with the Islamic terrorist organization ISIS, was being watched by the FBI for a long time. During his visit to Saudi Arabia in 2017, the FBI kept him under surveillance there as well, and FBI agents detained Ahmed Pervez on the road when he was on way from Madinah to Syria. Ahmed Parvez was brought back to the United States from Saudi Arabia a week after his detention. He was in custody for so long and the federal court announced the punishment against him on Tuesday.
Ahmed Parvez’s father’s name is Abdul Hannan. He lived with his family at 97th Street and 101st Avenue in Ozone Park, New York City. Their village home is Kadmatoli of South Surma Upazila of Sylhet District.
