Noman Sabit: A Bangladeshi-owned restaurant in the Bangladeshi-polluted Astoria area of New York in USA, was attacked by miscreants and opened fire. The incident happened at noon on Saturday (June 3) local time. An employee was shot in the incident and was rushed to the hospital.
The employee, Sabbir, was working at the Boishkhi restaurant on 36th Avenue in Astoria. Miscreants reportedly stormed into the restaurant and shot him in the leg. However, the actual incident is still not known. New York City police have cordoned off the area to investigate the incident. CCTV cameras are being tested. In this incident, there is extreme fear among the expatriate Bangladeshis of Astoria area.
