Ajit Doval Meets Chinese Vice President Before Key Border Talks
Bangla Press Desk: India’s National Security Adviser (NSA) and Special Representative for the India-China Boundary Question, Ajit Doval, met Chinese Vice President Han Zheng in Beijing on Tuesday ahead of the 25th round of Special Representatives’ talks on the boundary issue.
During the meeting, Doval and Han discussed ways to maintain peace and tranquility in the border areas and further strengthen bilateral relations, according to the Embassy of India in Beijing.The two sides also discussed improving ties across economic, political and multilateral fora in line with the consensus reached by the leaders of India and China.
The meeting took place ahead of the 25th round of the Special Representatives’ talks, which are focused on the long-standing India-China boundary question.
The talks are part of ongoing efforts by the two countries to address border-related concerns and improve bilateral relations.
