During the visit, the Foreign Minister will take part in two separate meetings on the Rohingya issue and the Least Developed Countries at the UN headquarters. The Foreign Minister is also scheduled to hold a meeting with the UN Secretary General. It is unknown at this time whether the foreign minister will visit the Bangladeshi-owned Innovative Global University in Virginia during his current visit. In February this year, he paid a state visit to the United States and officially inaugurated the Bangladeshi-owned Innovative Global University in Virginia on February 27.
