Biden received identity card of Ambassador Bangladesh

Staff Reporter: US President Joe Biden has been officially accepted identity card of M Sahidul Islam as Bangladesh's ambassador to the United States . At this time, he expressed hope for a deeper relationship with Bangladesh said press release of Bangladesh Embassy in Washington DC. The press release said, In an acceptance letter signed on February 17, 2021, President Biden welcomed the new Ambassador to the United States and expressed his Government’s desire to advance common goals and deepen the strong and abiding friendship between the two countries. It may be mentioned that due to the exigencies of the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Government did not arrange the traditional ceremony for in-person submission of the credentials to the President.
