Setting of new fuel oil prices for November
BanglaPress Desk: The government has decided to keep the prices of all types of fuel oils unchanged in the domestic market for the upcoming month of November. The prices per liter for diesel, octane, petrol, and kerosene will remain at their existing rates.
This decision for the month of November was announced tonight, Thursday (October 29), through a notification issued by the Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Division.
According to the announcement, throughout the month of November, diesel will be sold to consumers at 135 taka per liter, octane at 165 taka, petrol at 160 taka, and kerosene at 155 taka.
Sources from the Energy Division stated that the decision not to increase prices—despite fluctuations in the global market—was made to provide relief to the general public and to help keep inflation under control. The government has been adjusting fuel prices on a monthly basis through an automated mechanism, aligning them with international market trends.
