If you eat tomatoes as a salad regularly every day, your body gets vitamins, minerals and powerful antioxidants, which play a big role in the overall well-being of your body.
Tomatoes control blood pressure. And eating tomato salad regularly helps in controlling blood pressure. Potassium helps in controlling blood pressure, and fiber keeps the digestive process smooth. For those who are on the path to losing weight, tomato salad can be a great medicine on their plate. Because it is low in calories, high in water and fiber. As a result, the stomach fills up quickly. Apart from that, adding cucumber, onion, lemon juice, olive oil or coriander leaves to the salad with tomatoes increases the nutritional value.
