Why do women go to bed before 11pm every night?

Bangla Press Desk:  To stay healthy, you need at least 7-8 hours of sleep a day. Be it a woman or a man. But this theory does not apply to everyone. Some people can sleep in 6 hours, while others cannot rest even after sleeping for 9 hours. Despite all this, women need more sleep. Because women need to sleep at least 11 minutes more than men.
Women are not experts in multitasking, they also need more sleep for their hormonal health. Going to bed and waking up at a specific time is very important to maintain the rhythm of the body's biological clock. If you go to bed before 11 pm every night, it will maintain harmony with the body's circadian rhythm. This will ensure that the secretion of several hormones, including melatonin, will work properly. This will not cause any problems in metabolic rate or reproductive health.
And there is no hard and fast rule that a woman should sleep before 11 pm. But it is very important to keep the sleep time right. If you go to bed at 12 am every night, try to maintain that routine. However, the sooner you fall asleep at the end of the day, the better for your health. Just try to maintain 'sleep hygiene'.
'About 40 percent of women suffer from insomnia. Compared to men, women do multiple types of work. Yet they rest the least. And its impact directly affects their hormonal balance, according to the National Library of Medicine.
Meanwhile, regarding the effect of lack of sleep on hormones, gynecologist Mahima Kak Nagpal said in a post on social media that the role of sleep is immense in maintaining women's hormonal balance, metabolic health and reproductive health. Hormone secretion is linked to the body's biological clock. For example, the habit of staying up late at night can cause problems with ovulation.
Again, lack of adequate sleep increases the level of cortisol hormone, insulin resistance develops, menstruation becomes irregular and various reproductive problems occur. Therefore, Dr. Nagpal advises women to sleep before 11 pm. Lack of sleep disrupts the balance of multiple hormones, such as melatonin, cortisol, luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, estrogen, and progesterone.
