Atikur Rahman Ruman appointed Additional Press Secretary to Prime Minister

Bangla Press Desk:  Atikur Rahman Ruman has been appointed as Additional Press Secretary to the Prime Minister on a contractual basis.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard on Wednesday (18 February).According to the notification, Rumon’s appointment is subject to the condition that he relinquishes any professional, business or employment ties with any government, semi-government or private institution or organisation.

He will receive a salary at the highest step of Grade-2 of the national pay scale, the notification said.The appointment will take effect from the date of his joining and will remain valid for the tenure of the Prime Minister or until further orders, whichever occurs earlier.

Other terms and conditions of the appointment will be determined through a formal contract, the notification added.
