Cabinet Led by Tarique Highlights Harmony Across Generations

Bangla Press Desk:  At the first hour of Amar Ekushey February and International Mother Language Day, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman paid tribute to the language martyrs at the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka.

He was later joined by members of his newly formed cabinet in placing wreaths at the monument in honour of the martyrs.Meanwhile, a video of cabinet members ascending the Shaheed Bedi has gone viral on social media.

The footage shows one of the senior-most members of the cabinet, Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain (Kaikobad), being assisted up the steps by a younger cabinet member, the Prime Minister’s Adviser Rehan Asif Asad.

Following the video’s circulation online, Rehan has been widely praised by netizens. His gesture of extending a helping hand to a veteran party leader is being described as a powerful symbol of harmony between the younger and older generations within the government.Observers on social media have also expressed optimism about the new cabinet under PM Tarique, citing the visible bond between senior and junior members as a positive sign for inclusive and respectful leadership.

Notably, Rehan has been entrusted with responsibilities for the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, as well as the Ministry of Science and Technology.
