Curriculum won’t be changed, to be reviewed: Education minister
Bangla Press Desk: The new government’s education minister, ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon, said on Wednesday that the curriculum will not be changed but will instead be reviewed.
He also assured that there will be no corruption in MPO (monthly pay order) enrolment.“After taking charge in 2001, cheating in exams was curbed and question paper leaks were stopped. These issues will not recur,” Milon said while speaking to reporters at the ministry.
“In our education sector, we need not just a high jump but a pole vault.”
The minister said the country’s education system needs to be modernised and must compete with other countries.
“In the global village, we cannot have a dated education. Education is no longer just a domestic commodity, it is an international commodity.”
He added, “We need to use nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, and robotics. We must embrace digital platforms and develop digital literacy.”
