Dhaka and Delhi Seek to Deepen Cultural Ties

Bangla Press Desk: Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi on Sunday met Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury and both sides highlighted the importance of strengthening cultural engagement between the two countries.
The discussion highlighted the deep-rooted cultural connections between the peoples of the two countries.
They discussed potential cooperation and exchanges in the fields of classical music, folk art, heritage conservation, institutional linkages, and joint cultural programmes and conferences, especially as part of Nazrul Borsho celebrations, all aimed at promoting people-to-people ties.
State Minister for Cultural Affairs Ali Nawaz Mahmud Khayyam was also present.
