Furniture Warehouse Catches Fire in Badda

Bangla Press Desk:  A fire broke out at a furniture warehouse in the Satarkul area under Badda Police Station in the capital on Sunday morning. Two units of the Baridhara Fire Station brought the blaze under control.

The Fire Service received the report of the fire at 8:55am on Sunday (6 September). Firefighters immediately headed to the scene and arrived at 9:19am. The fire was brought under control at 9:58am.Lima Khanam, the officer on duty at the control room of the Fire Service and Civil Defence, confirmed the incident to the media.

She said two units from Baridhara Fire Station were dispatched after receiving information that a fire had broken out at a furniture warehouse in Satarakul, Badda, and brought the blaze under control.

As no further assistance was required, two units from the Purbachal Fire Station returned while en route to the scene.
