Japan PM Takaichi pledges responsible fiscal policy

Bangla Press Desk:   Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi said on Sunday that she would conduct a "responsible" fiscal policy after media projections showed her triumphing in snap lower house elections.

"We have consistently stressed the importance of responsible and proactive fiscal policy," Takaichi told reporters.

We will prioritise the sustainability of fiscal policy. We will ensure necessary investments. Public and private sectors must invest. We will build a strong and resilient economy," she said. Source: daily Sun
