Netanyahu set to engage Lebanese president, Israeli official says

Bangla Press Desk:  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will speak to the Lebanese President Joseph Aoun today, cabinet security member Galia Gamliel said on Israeli Army radio, reports the BBC.

It comes after President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social - on Wednesday night US time - that Israeli and Lebanese leaders will be speaking "tomorrow", the report says. 

On Thursday, an official in Lebanon's presidential office told the BBC they were unaware of upcoming contact with Israel.
