One killed in another gunfire in Brooklyn
Ema Alice: A 30-year-old man died and another man was is in critical condition Sunday evening after both were caught in a hail of another gunfire in Brooklyn, police said.
Shortly before 6 p.m., cops responding to a 911 call found the men with multiple gun shot wounds throughout their bodies near Fulton St. and Cleveland St. in Cypress Hills, according to police.
Medics rushed both men to Brookdale Hospital Center, where the 30-year-old man died. The other victim, 50, is in critical condition, an NYPD spokesperson said. A person of interest is in custody, according to police.
The identity of the dead man is being withheld until his family has been notified. It was not immediately clear if the victims knew each other or the gunman, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, on Wednesday afternoon, a 7-month-old baby girl was killed by stray gunfire in the East Williamsburg area. According to police and family members, the child was out with her parents in a stroller. When gunshots were suddenly heard, they initially thought it was fireworks. However, it was later revealed that gunmen riding a motorized moped opened fire into a crowd.

One of the bullets struck the baby in the head, leaving her critically injured at the scene. She was later pronounced dead. In the same incident, her younger brother was also grazed and sustained minor injuries.
