All flights from Dammam to Riyadh suspended until October 18
BanglaPress Desk: In light of the attacks on airports in Saudi Arabia, Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended all flights from Dhaka to Dammam and Riyadh until October 18, 2020, to ensure passenger safety.
This information was conveyed in a press release issued by the Public Relations Department of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Thursday (October 15) afternoon.
The release stated that further decisions regarding the suspended flights and updated travel schedules will be announced in due course.
However, for urgent travel needs, passengers may still travel to Saudi Arabia via the international airports in Jeddah and Medina. To accommodate passenger demand, a Boeing 777 aircraft has been deployed on the Medina route, replacing the Boeing 787; this change increases the capacity by 148 seats per flight.
Additionally, Biman authorities have arranged for three extra flights to operate on the Jeddah route.
Passengers are advised to contact their nearest Biman Bangladesh Airlines sales center for detailed information regarding tickets and travel arrangements.
