Country Braces for Rain in Next 24 Hours
Bangla Press Desk: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rainfall in different parts of the country over the next 24 hours starting from 9:00am today.
In its latest bulletin issued this morning, the Met Office said: “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds and lightning flashes, are likely at many places over Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, and at a few places over Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions.”
It added that moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may occur at some locations across the country.Day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged nationwide, according to the forecast.
The highest temperature recorded on Sunday was 36.3°C in Ishwardi under Rajshahi division, while the lowest temperature today was 23°C in Rajarhat under Rangpur division.
