Shakib and Nahid secure spots in the Afghan Premier League

Bangla Press Desk: The player draft for the Afghanistan Premier League (APL) is currently underway in Dubai. Two Bangladeshi cricketers, Shakib Al Hasan and Nahid Rana, have been selected from the 'Diamond' category of this draft.
Nangarhar Cosmic has signed Shakib Al Hasan from the Diamond category, while right-arm pacer Nahid Rana—also from the same category—has been picked up by Team Paktia.
With several other categories yet to be processed in the draft, there remains a possibility that more Bangladeshi cricketers could be selected.
A total of 30 Bangladeshi cricketers registered for this year's draft across four categories. This includes five players each in the Platinum and Diamond categories, 13 in the Gold category, and seven in the Silver category.
