Bangla Press Desk: Syed Abdal Ahmed has been appointed as chief information officer (Grade-1) on a contractual basis.
The appointment was confirmed through a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Sunday.According to the gazette notification, he will serve in the position for one year from the date of joining, subject to relinquishing any other profession, business, or employment relationship with government, semi-government, or private institutions.
The notification also stated that other terms and conditions of the appointment will be determined through a formal contract agreement.It added that the order, issued in the public interest, takes immediate effect.
The notification was issued by order of the President and signed by Deputy Secretary Md Golam Rabbani of the Contracts and Foreign Appointments unit.
