Zubaida Rahman on Cultural Tour in Putrajaya Amid Malaysia Visit
Bangla Press Desk: Dr Zubaida Rahman, wife of Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, was taken on a sightseeing tour of Putrajaya by Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, wife of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, following an official reception for Tarique Rahman and his delegation in Malaysia.
Sharing details of the visit in a Facebook post on Monday, Wan Azizah said she had the opportunity to accompany Dr Zubaida on a lake cruise around Putrajaya after the formal welcome ceremony at Dataran Perdana.

She said the tour allowed the visiting delegation to enjoy the scenic surroundings of the Malaysian administrative capital.
Later, officials from Malaysian Kraftangan organised a batik engraving and handicrafts exhibition for Dr Zubaida Rahman and members of the delegation at the Seri Perdana Complex in Putrajaya.

According to Wan Azizah, Zubaida Rahman also demonstrated her artistic talent during the session by participating in batik colouring activities.
Expressing optimism about the visit, Wan Azizah said the tour could further strengthen the friendship between Bangladesh and Malaysia and help expand cooperation in various areas of mutual benefit.
