Bangla Press Desk: Tollywood actress Jyotirmoyee Kundu, who made her small-screen debut with the series “Bodhua”, is gearing up for the release of her second project, the film “Prajapati 2”, opposite Dev this December. Even before its release, industry chatter has already linked her to another major project with Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan.
Director Abu Hayat Mahmud is preparing his next film, Prince, for release during next year’s Eid. Earlier, reports suggested that three heroines—two from Tollywood and one from Bangladesh—might be cast opposite Shakib. However, sources now say the plan has changed: the film will feature only two leading ladies. One is Bangladeshi actress Tasnia Farin, while the other is reportedly Jyotirmoyee Kundu.
According to insiders, the director and producer have already held initial discussions with Jyotirmoyee. However, they have brushed off the reports as “rumours”.
If all goes according to plan, shooting for Prince will begin in December, with locations set across Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bangladesh. The cinematography will be handled by Amit Roy, known for his work in the hit film “Animal”.
