Adani Unit-2 back online, resumes supply to Bangladesh

Bangla Press Desk: Power supply to the national grid from Adani Power's Unit-2 of the Godda power plant in Jharkhand of India has resumed at Sunday.
The unit stopped operating due to a technical fault since Thursday midnight, reports BSS.
After repairing the fault, power supply to Bangladesh has started again, connecting the 800MW unit with the national grid of Bangladesh at 12.04 pm today, said Mohammad Jahurul Islam, member (Generation) of the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB).
Currently, generation from the unit is increasing gradually, he added.
