Bangla Press Desk: The Department of Meteorology has stated that thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds—reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h—may occur in five regions of the country by midday.
This forecast was issued for the country's inland river ports, valid until 1:00 PM on Wednesday (October 14).
The forecast, signed by meteorologist Md. Abdul Hamid Mia, indicates that rain or thunderstorms, accompanied by temporary gusty winds blowing from the west or north-west at speeds of 45 to 60 km/h, are likely over the Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, and Chattogram regions. River ports in these areas have been advised to hoist warning signal number 1.
