VoteGuard International sets up virtual office with Microsoft 365

Bangla Press Desk:  Australian non-profit organisation VoteGuard International has established a cloud-based virtual office using Microsoft 365 services to support its global operations.

The Australian-registered non-profit has secured free access to Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, through Microsoft’s non-profit entitlement programme. The digital infrastructure connects volunteers and office-bearers across different countries and time zones, enabling remote collaboration, document management and administrative work.

The platform also supports the organisation’s research initiatives, including its Perceived Election Treason-Risk Index (PETRI) programme.“Access to Microsoft 365 enables organisations such as VGIL to establish professional digital operations at a stage when the cost of conventional office infrastructure worldwide could otherwise be a significant barrier,” said a press release.

The organisation said the cloud-based system provides a cost-effective way to manage its international activities while operating as a volunteer-based entity.
