Bangladesh U-17 Women out of AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers after a heavy defeat

Bangla Press Desk:  Bangladesh’s U-17 women’s team were eliminated from the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers after suffering a 0-5 defeat against Chinese Taipei in their decisive Group H match at Aqaba Stadium.

Bangladesh had started the campaign with a 1-1 draw against hosts Jordan, keeping hopes alive for a maiden main round appearance. However, today’s heavy loss ended their qualification dream, while Chinese Taipei secured their spot in the next stage with back-to-back wins.

Coach Saiful Bari Titu’s side fought hard but couldn’t contain Chinese Taipei’s attacking prowess, leaving Bangladesh to exit at the group stage.
