Rain forces venue, schedule change for series

Bangla Press Desk: Persistent rainfall in Rajshahi has forced a change in both venue and schedule for the ongoing five-match Youth ODI series between Bangladesh Under-19 and Afghanistan Under-19.

The remaining three matches, originally scheduled to be played in Rajshahi on November 3, 6, and 9, will now be held at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on November 5, 7, and 9.

The series commenced in Bogura, where Bangladesh Under-19 clinched a narrow five-run victory via the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern (DLS) method in the opening match on October 28. However, the second ODI, scheduled for October 31, was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to persistent rain.

The relocation aims to ensure the series can be completed without further weather interruptions. Both teams are expected to travel to Khulna shortly, with the third Youth ODI set to resume the series on Wednesday.
