Women's and men's World Cup carrom teams finalized

Bangla Press Desk:   The 7th Carrom World Cup will be held in the Maldives from 2 December to 6 December. Four males and females from Bangladesh will participate in the men's and women's divisions of the competition. The Bangladesh Carrom Federation organized a selection competition to finalize the national team.

On 5 October, Afsana Nasrin, Farzana Banu Shilpi, Shamshun Nahar Maqsuda, and Asia Khatun made it to the women's team through the selection process. Those who qualified for the men's team selection, which ended on 17 October, are: Md. Anis Ahmed, Hafizur Rahman, Basu Das, and Hemayet Mollah.

The training camp will begin at the federation's training room on 6 November with the final selected carrom players, hoping for good results in the upcoming Carrom World Cup. More than 25 global carrom players are set to participate in a tournament to be held in the Maldives, where Bangladesh hopes to make a positive impact.
