Bangladesh opt to bat first against Australia
Bangla Press Desk: Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to bat first in their fifth ICC Women’s World Cup match against Australia at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
The Tigresses will be eager to make a strong statement against the in-form Australian side, who currently sit second on the points table after four matches. Despite managing just one win so far, Bangladesh have impressed with their resilience and competitive performances throughout the tournament, earning praise for their fighting spirit.
Looking to strengthen their lineup for this crucial encounter, Bangladesh have made two changes — Trisna and Nishita come into the starting XI. The team will aim for a solid batting display to set up a challenging total against the Australian bowling attack.
