Bangladesh team arrives in Hong Kong, China

Bangla Press Desk:   The Bangladesh national football team have arrived in Hong Kong, China to play their return-leg match of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers. The team, led by Jamal Bhuyan and Hamza Choudhury, departed Dhaka on Friday afternoon and reached Hong Kong around 10 p.m. (local time) after a short layover in Thailand.

Bangladesh will take on Hong Kong, China in the away fixture on 14 October. The team, under head coach Javier Cabrera, will begin training from Saturday as they prepare to bounce back from Thursday’s heartbreaking defeat in Dhaka.

In the home leg, Bangladesh suffered a dramatic 4–3 loss to Hong Kong, China in a seven-goal thriller at the National Stadium. The defeat left Bangladesh at the bottom of Group C with just one point from three matches.

Hong Kong, China lead the group with seven points, followed by Singapore on five and India on two. To keep their qualification hopes alive, Bangladesh now must win all three of their remaining matches.
